If i have bad credit can i be denied home utilities?
A while back due to some very bad circumstances i was unable to pay off my overdue gas bill and it was sent to a collection agency. If i wanted to re apply for gas service in my place can that same company, or a new one legally decide not to offer me service? If so what would my other options be for things such as gas or electricity?
We're a small business and a client used a bad credit card to pay for services, what steps should I take?
I work for a small business and we service clients on a mobile unit and take credit cards information down for payment and run the cards at the office when we get back. A client used a card that does not have funds on it and it was declined. The client is now avoiding our calls, and has not paid the balance. What steps can we take to try and receive payment? Is there any legal ramifications for someone who used a credit card knowing there are no funds? Should we be contacting the clients bank in order to inform them of this issue? Any tips or websites with information on this type of situation is appreciated. Thank you

I am entertaining the idea of buying a parcel of land in my area California . I have bad credit as in a few points shy of 500. I have had a steady job for 4 years. My experian score is like a 583 and that's after a 37 point boost by opening a secured card. I have one more secured card that hasn't started reporting yet, but I'm hoping that puts me around 600. I've heard other good ways to improve your credit are through installment loans, well i know right now score is too low to get approved for one. I was thinking about doing a car title loan that would let me keep the car while repaying the loan, but the mileage on my car is too high for the model year to get accepted by any body. Does any one know of like a second chance lender that would be willing to let me borrow like $500 1000 to start a positive tradeline on my account? Also I have like 3 inquiries scheduled to fall off in october and i'd like to apply for something like a store card or something when those fall off. Any suggestions???

I am at my wits end. 4 months ago I got a %30 pay cut from my job that was suppose to be temporary, everything began to fall apart, to make matters worse my car started to break down which caused a huge repair bill, then to make it even worse my purse was stolen with my entire pay check which was for rent. After investing $700 on car repairs, my car broke down again two days later. Estimating to a $350 repair bill that I don't have. I couldn't pay my rent because my purse was stolen with all of my money in it. I just need a personal loan to fix my car so I can work two jobs to cover all my bills, I am so worried sick, I am all by myself and no support trying my best to do this all on my own, I pray every day I just don't know what to do. Is it possible to get a personal loan with bad credit? Around $600 so I can repair my car so I can be mobile to work and Catch up on all my bills?
