Using a payday loan to pay bankruptcy fees?
Have a strange question. Would I be able to utilize a payday loan to pay bankruptcy fees? My wages are being garnished and after gas, rent and utilities I have very little money to eat on. I have no problem paying the payday loan off after due to after the garnishments come off my paycheck will have alot more money freed up. Also, is it something that would be needed to be put on the bankruptcy paperwork even if i am paying it off? Thank you for your help.
Question about bankruptcy fees?
So a person I know is going to declare bankruptcy. The problem is she said she will be charged about $500 dollars to do so. The reason for their filing bankruptcy is because of a car accident that happened like 2 3 years ago. No one was hurt, but the other person's motorcycle was damaged. This person they got in the accident with has come after my friend with lawyers and is taking about half her paycheck and she literally has barely enough to eat because they take half her money. She can't declare bankruptcy now because she says it costs too much to afford. I'm unfamiliar with this area of expertise. How much do bankruptcy fees usually cost? Is there any way to get around this? She's about to lose everything because of this blood sucking leech. I'd really appreciate help.Hitting bottom isn't an option. She has kids.

Looking for bankruptcy fees for under $2,000 in San Diego, CA?
I would like to file for bankruptcy in San Diego. I spoke with a lawyer and the quote for attorney fees, court costs, etc was just over $2,000. I am trying to shop around, but most law firms don't post rates online. If anyone could recommend a law firm lawyer that would cost less than $2,000 in the San Diego area it would be greatly appreciated. Thank You.
