Credit card in credit help!?
Hey everyone,Need some advice. I need to hire a car for a week and they only accept credit cards. My credit limit is only 100 and the cost of the hire is 370.54. If pay 400.00 to my credit card and make it in CREDIT would that work and go through so I can hire the vehicle. Rang the capital one customer services and they keep saying my balance is 0 why do u want to pay more lol Ben

Ok so we're going on a scuba trip in my bio class and the trip is $900 and teacher says up $400 in tax credit. it'd save me tons of money. my parents aren't rich, we're middle class. how does this work and how can i get it? please in words a teenage can understand.

Should i go ffor a chapter 7 n in two yrs be eligible to buy a house but then to only have a bankruptcy on my credit report for 10 years? Child tax credit help please!?
i would like to know if u can still send a request for child tax credit after the due date has past, my mum sent her tax credit in through post and she has received it but we forgot to send the form for child tax credit that she gets after me, and i would like to know if we can still send it on either on the due date which is the 31st of july or a day after. i'm 16 but i'll be going to college so i have to get a form from the college stating that i am going to be studying there and my mum will send that to receive child tax credit. i need to know if we can still send it in.

I need some Tax credits help?
I'm currently self employed and getting tax credits has a low earner who works 35hrs a week, and have just been told today by my company that my hours will be significantly reduced soon.I was wondering what the situation will be when I inform Hmrc.Will my payments be reduced or increased has a result of a reduction in my hours?? Hopefully I should be able to get at least 16 hours which is the minimum I would be expected to work has a family with 2 children.Can anyone shed some light, I'm so worried and do not want to go back on job seekers I worked so hard to get of it .
Tax credits help please?
I claim child tax credit as I have 2 children. My partner works full time and I am a stay at home mum.I have been getting about 4,000 for the last year, and have just renewed my claim for this year. The problem is, I have since discovered this new thing where anyone who earns over 15,860 a year has 41 % deducted from their claim from now onwards. I am now seriously worried about how this will affect how much I get for this year, compared to last year, as we really couldnt manage with much less than what we have been getting. My partners earnings were 21,362 so we are hardly mega rich Does anyone know how this 41 % deduction is affecting peoples claims? thanks

Hi everyone. Right ok, last year i went from being on income support to working, whilst starting to work i was going to put my children into nursery and give tax credits the information to get the 80 % child care in my working tax credits, i ended up not putting them into nursery as a friend used to work in a nursery but then lost her job so i was paying her to have my children at home. I am no longer working so no longer getting working tax credits, i have just received a tax credits letter asking for all information i have about my children being in the nursery and that i need to send it to them before 17th july. Now i realise i didnt put my children into the nursery, but am i in the wrong? as how the letter is wrote it seems as if i am in the wrong and theyre looking into it s please someone confirm if this is wrong and what will happen or if it is ok and just standard procedure. I went through a rough patch last year and need help repairing/building my credit! help!!?
Last year, my fiance and I didn't have good paying jobs. We were pregnant with our daughter and our extra money went to buying her needs. I had allowed 2 doctor bills and a utility gas bill to go into collections. Recently I paid the collection agencies off due to my fiance getting a good paying job. I am young so I had no credit, so when I allowed these bills to go to collections I'm assuming that they made me have bad credit. I now see that it was a mistake, but now that I have my daughter I need to repair it and I want to buy our own home within a year or two. I need advice to get this off and build my credit fast enough to buy a home. Thank you
