How to compute finance charges in Bdo MasterCard? What is the formula?
I need some finance help. Should I listen to my sister's advice or my own?
I have worked at Staples for less than a year now but in the mail, I got a Part Time benefits magazine that talks about Health Benefits and 401k Benefits along with other things. The health and 401k benefits do not matter to me because I do not plan on working in this job for the rest of my life and my insurance is under my father currently. One thing caught my eye which was the ESPP or Employee Share Purchase Plan. It is a small plan that takes 1 % to 10 % of your pay after tax and basically goes to buying Staples stock. My sister thinks I am too young to have shares plus I have school in like three weeks so keeping up with it would seem impossible but they would provide the tools with E trade so I can keep up with my portfolio. I just need to know if this is a good idea or a lousy one. Bear in mind, I am willing to put > 1 % of my paycheck into stocks but not all 10 %G N A brought up a good point. According to the paper sent to me, it states that I would have the ability to buy, sell, or withdraw whenever I wanted. Also if you could explain do I get Dividends from the shares or is that related to the stocks?
I am a Political Science major now, should I switch to becoming a finance major?
Im worried because basically political science is now becoming a worthless major, However i still have time to change my major to finace. Im not a math genius but Im good at algebra and word problems which I feel will most likely be seen in my finance classes. However I feel if I major in finance more jobs will be available for me. After I would get my finance degree I would either go to grad school and get my masters in finance or take the lsats and go to law school, then later become a tax or insurance lawyer. But if I stick with poly sci, i would have to either get my ph.d which takes years to complete or I would go to law school but i rather go to law school with a finance degree just in case i decide I dont like law school then i have my finance degree to fall back on and work for a bank or financial adviser. No I do not want to major in accounting so please dont suggest that. What do you guys think?

It just makes me hate it.So, I am wondering is finance like accounting annoying ? If you know a lot about it can you tell me how finance classes are different then accounting? Please.
