Since I have to file chapter 7 bankruptcy for some relief, I think it's understandable that I can't afford the $1300 fee that most lawyers charge. I would like to know if anyone has used an online forms preparation company, and if they actually had success. Thanks for your help.

We're looking into filing chapter 7 not the prettiest option but honestly the only at this point and hoping to save some money. While I've considered attempting to do it myself we have a straightforward bankruptcy and qualify by a longshot I did see there are quite a few online companies which could make it easier and be more affordable than an attorney. Yes, an attorney is still the safest bet but I'm wondering if there are any online companies anyone are aware of that aren't a total crock which, unfortunately, is most of what I'm seeing Thanks in advance.

for chapter 7? I see them advertised for like 200 and they do all the paperwork for you, and instruct you through the whole process. Attorneys are charging like 700 to 1300

I am considering using easybkservices but am hesitant that maybe I should use a lawyer. The problem is the lawyer wants to charge around 1700.00 if I had that kind of money I would not have to file. Does anyone have any insight on this?
